 "IT'S A ZOO!"

Kerguelen Farm is a family run farm that specializes in registered Scottish Highland cattle, miniature Olde English Babydoll sheep, miniature Sicilian donkeys, and a menagerie of animals, all of which are "beyond" adorable.
We have 110 acres in the scenic hills of Northeastern Ohio, overlooking the Tuscarawas River and bordered by Camp Tuscazoar, Ohio's most historic Boyscout Camp. Our land connects to the Zoar Valley Trail, providing us with miles of hiking and horseback riding trails.
"Visitors are always welcome." Just give us a holler, to make sure someone's available to give you a tour.

We are members of the American Highland Association, the Olde English Babydoll Sheep Registry, the Norwegian Fjord Horse Registry, and the Ohio Farm Bureau.

Zoar is a rescue nurse mare foal. He was 5 weeks old he came to live at Kerguelen Farm. We rescued 2 babies last year, and it was such a wonderful experience that we decided to do it again. We'd had plenty of time to forget all those sleepless nights, and carrying warm milk buckets from the house to the barn. This year seems so much easier because we have warm water and a sink in the new barn, and Zoar and Malcolm are so much older. Last years babies, "The Boss" and Sheriff were only 10 days old when we adopted them. There were many long nights. battling pneumonia and scours. But it must be like childbirth, you forget the pain after a while, so you're crazy enough to try it again. It also helps that our wonderful "Bunkroom Apartment" is finally complete. Our "sleepless" nights are much more comfortable.

"Our Little St. Patrick's Day Surprise"

Lily, one of our Olde English Babydoll sheep, had twins early on St. Patrick's Day. A little boy named "Shamrock of Kerguelen" and his sister, "Kerguelen's Clover". This brings our flock of Babydolls up to 10. We are working on establishing a strong foundation flock, all of which originate from the Robert Mock bloodlines.
